
The Indian Perioperative Nurses Association was formed on November 18th, 2018, and is registered under the TAMILNADU SOCIETIES REGISTRATION ACT, 1975 in 2019. This association was founded during the first National Perioperative Nursing Conference that was held in the Christian Medical College, Vellore.

It is with great pride and a sense of responsibility that I address you today as the President of our esteemed association. Our journey together has been marked by dedication, commitment, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in perioperative nursing care.
As we stand united under the motto “Ensuring Safe Surgeries and Empowering Excellence,” we reaffirm our commitment to advancing the standards of perioperative nursing practice across India. Our mission goes beyond mere words; it is a pledge to uphold the highest levels of patient safety, surgical care, and professional development.
In today’s dynamic healthcare landscape, where challenges and opportunities coexist, our role as perioperative nurses has never been more critical. We are the guardians of safe surgeries, the advocates for patient well-being, and the champions of continuous improvement.
Through collaboration, education, and advocacy, we will continue to shape the future of perioperative nursing in India. Our initiatives will focus on enhancing clinical skills, embracing technological advancements, fostering research and innovation, and promoting a culture of excellence in every aspect of perioperative care.
